Who we are

Wireburn is published by UNKNOWNFUNCTION ("we", "us"), based in New South Wales, Australia. This policy covers the Wireburn game, whether you play it in a web browser or through the Wireburn Android application.

Information we collect

We collect no personal information. Specifically, the app does not ask for, gather, or transmit:

• Your name, email address, phone number or postal address
• Account or login credentials , there are no accounts
• Location data
• Contacts, photos, files, camera or microphone data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Gameplay statistics, scores or usage behaviour

The app requests no special device permissions.

Cookies, storage and tracking

Wireburn sets no cookies and writes no personal data to your device's storage. It contains no analytics tools, no advertising networks, no tracking pixels, and no third-party scripts.

Your game progress is held in temporary memory only. It is not saved, and it is cleared when you close or reload the app.

The app stores a copy of its own program files on your device so that it can run without an internet connection. These are the game's own files , they contain no information about you.

Hosting and server logs

To be fully transparent: an internet connection is needed to load the app the first time. It is delivered by a third-party static hosting provider, and like virtually all web hosting, that provider automatically records standard technical logs when a page is requested. These typically include the IP address, the date and time, the file requested, and the browser type.

These logs are generated and held by the hosting provider for network security, abuse prevention and service delivery. We do not use them to identify or profile anyone, we do not combine them with any other information, and we do not build user records from them.

Once the app has loaded, it runs entirely on your device and makes no further network requests.

The Android app

The Android version of Wireburn is the same game described above, packaged for phones using a third-party app-building service. We add no tracking of any kind to it.

However, the packaging framework and the Google Play platform itself may collect limited technical or diagnostic information as part of their normal operation , for example crash reports, app version, device model or operating system version. Any such collection is governed by those providers' own privacy policies and terms, not ours. We do not request, receive, access or make use of any personal information from them.

Links to other sites

The game contains links to our online store and website, where you can buy the physical Wireburn card game. Those sites are operated separately and have their own privacy practices , this policy does not cover them. If you make a purchase, the store handles that transaction and its own privacy policy applies.

Children

Wireburn is a strategy card game suitable for a general audience. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Sharing your information

We hold no personal information about you, so there is nothing for us to sell, rent, trade or disclose. We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers or any other third party.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and comparable laws elsewhere, you generally have the right to access and correct personal information an organisation holds about you. As we hold none, there is nothing to access, correct or delete. You can remove the app's locally stored files at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing your browser's site data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes affecting how information is handled will be reflected here before they take effect.
